David Gao

Hi, my name is David Gao. I am currently a 9th grader at Rock Canyon High School. I have participated in Lego Robotics for 4 years since I was a 4th grader. In that time period, I made it to the state championship every year and was honored to be able to compete in the LEGO World Championships in San Diego in 2014. I also excel in many other activities such as Chess, Science Bowl, Science Olympiad, and Math Counts. I instituted and independently taught a math club for one year in the Fort Collins Huaxing Chinese School with 4th and 5th grade students. This was a favorite for all of the students and was a distinguished opportunity for them to improve their math skills to levels above all others.
