Midwest 9-state Chinese Education Conference

In early June, a handful of Denver Chinese School staff members and teachers attended the Midwest 9-state Chinese Education Conference held in Chicago. In the conference, President Huiliang Liu shared with another about 20 schools on how Denver Chinese School’s involvement in community building enriched the Denver Metro area’s cultures and brought positive visibility of the Chinese Community by hosting the annual Spring Festival. President Liu’s speech brought about excitement and heated discussions, and gave other Chinese schools fresh ideas on their own school’s development.
Four teachers from Denver Chinese School took training and test for 2017 Chicago Chinese Educator Certificate. They all claimed that it was a very valuable experience.
