From October, as a teaching assistant at Denver Chinese School, I really enjoy the
time with students here. The Pre-kid students are so cute and active in the class. We
sing, dance, share stories and play games. We are all involved. The experience with
eighth & ninth grade students is also wonderful. When I was there, I recalled my life
at that age. I can understand their stress and their parents’ expectations. I hope we are
not only teachers and students. I want to make friends with them. Now, I start my
teaching here. I hope we can learn from each other and be better together.
